Dinner at Rolf’s
December 22, 2013Happy 2014 from Lima, Peru
December 30, 2013I love Holiday festivities! Today is such a wonderful day to spend with your loved ones, family and friends. Although my direct family is in Peru, I still have my aunts, uncles and cousins, who always welcome me at their house and make me feel like I’m back at home. Also, this is the first Christmas I spend with my boyfriend’s family, so it’s definitely a special day.
I just want to wish you all a magnificent day, whether you celebrate tomorrow or tonight at 12, make this day super special and remember the true meaning of it.To me, the true meaning of Christmas is not giving each other gifts (although we all love to be spoiled), to me the most significant part of this day is that it brings us hope, faith and peace, all this by been surrounded with those who we cared for and we love the most.
With that said, MERRY CHRISTMAS! I hope 2014, comes filled with lots of health, love, happiness and prosperity! I will be travelling to Peru tomorrow night to be finally reunited with my family. I will be writing to you from sunny Peru before the year ends.
Also, make a trip to the Rockefeller Center, the tree will be there until January 7th so don’t forget to visit and take some pictures!
With tons of love,
