BARGAIN DINING AT NYC’S TRENDIEST RESTAURANTS

That time of the year, that all us foodies love, has come again and this time for almost a month. RESTAURANT WEEK’S SUMMER EDITION kicked off on July 24th and this time will be running until August 18th.

If you didn’t know, Restaurant Week (now almost a month) comes twice a year and you get the chance to dine at great, and even upscale, restaurants for a prix-fixe menu. Three meal courses at $29 for Lunch and Brunch and $42 for Dinner.

If you have been reading me you know I always take advantage of NYC RW, which happen to have many of my favorites spots listed. This time, the creators of this great initiative decided to add brunch into the offering, so on your weekends you can get your brunch fixed at delicious restaurants. I went to Mediterranean restaurant, FIG AND OLIVE, and the food was exquisite and the price could not be beat.

You should know that thanks to Restaurant Week, you have the chance to eat at places with notable chefs owners such as, Daniel Boulud (DBGB, Café Boulud), David Burke (David Burke Kithchen) or Jean-Georges (ABC Kitchen, ABC Cocina, Mercer Kitchen). Remarkable Asian ones like NOBU, Morimoto and Mr. Chow. Trendy ones like TAO, Catch, Hakkasan, Bagatelle, Beauty and Essex, Stanton Social, Beautique. Comfort food spots like Red Rooster in Harlem and Root & Bone in LES. Steakhouses like Ruth’s Chris, Delmonico’s, Smith & Wollensky, American Cut, Capital Grille, among others. Scarpetta, Rossini’s and Cipriani my favorites of Italian alternatives on the list.

As you can see, the variety of restaurants is amazing and large. French, Mediterranean, Latin-American, all type of cuisines, so you can just think what you are in the mood for and make a reservation at a participant restaurant.

Worth mentioning that RAYMI, Peruvian restaurant is offering Dinner and Brunch.

Eat away and try new places, or visit your favorite ones, without hurting your wallet, you have until the 18th to enjoy this promotion. To make reservations, check availability and details of the entire list of participant restaurants here: http://ow.ly/jeZV30ekn7p
