Annual Halloween dog parade!
Last Saturday we took Tiki, a.k.a Queen Tiki, my 2 year old yorkie to the Annual Halloween Dog Parade in Tompkins Square Park. The event started at approximately at 11:30 am and congregated hundreds of dogs in amazing costumes, dressed-up owners and dog lovers.
It was amazing to see all these beautiful dogs gathered at the park dressed up in traditional and original costumes. It was a good opportunity for our beloved fuor legged children to socialize, get into the Halloween spirit and have a good time at the park.
Tiki was a little witch and she met Thor, Superman, Batman, Hulk and some other superheroes. She also hung out with the witches from the Wizard of Oz, Sharknadog, Lobster-dog, Cat-dog, King Kong and his gang and even Cinderella.
Looking at the doggie-parents going all out, totally inspired us to come up with a team costume theme for next year’s parade. Here are some pictures, enjoy!
